Our Christian Distinctiveness
Worship is central to our school and a daily act of Collective Worship is held every day. Christianity is the predominant religion. The Vicar and other church members support us and every Wednesday lead our worship either in our school hall or at church.
The celebration of Holy Communion takes place every half term in school. Children from Year 3 upwards attend Holy Communion and with parental permission, children from year 4 upwards are prepared to take the bread and wine. It is very unusual for a school to hold such a service but with careful planning and preparation, these times are some of the best. Parents do hold the right to withdraw their children from attending this act of worship.
