We will be writing a wide variety of different text types to enable us to demonstrate everything we have learned throughout our time in Primary School.  We will be revising terms such as conjunctions, fronted adverbials, relative clauses and figurative language, thinking about the best vocabulary to use for our reader and making sure we edit carefully to include a range of Year 6 punctuation.  We will be using past learning in history, science and other foundation subjects, as well as the texts ‘The Ways of the Wolf’ and ‘The Arrival’ by Shaun Tan as our inspiration.

Maths

Our maths work this term will consist of the revision of all the mathematical topics we have learned throughout Year 6.  We will be aiming to address any misconceptions or gaps in knowledge that the children hold.
