Catering Changes: September 2022

From September 2022, Aspens will be our new catering providers.

The school has made the decision to work with the schools’ caterer Aspens from September 2022.  This decision has been taken to ensure that we are less impacted by the food distribution issues we are currently experiencing. Caterers are able to buy in bulk and therefore keep food costs down.

We are a strong family at St Botolph’s and would like to thank Mrs Marsden and her team for keeping us fulfilled with hot dinners all term.  No changes to staffing will be occurring so the children will still see their faces at the hatch every day.

You will be sent a menu for Autumn/Winter and further information from Aspens. Booking school dinners will still take place via ParentPay in the normal way. You can book one week at a time or for a whole term. As usual, the cut-off day is a Wednesday for the following week. Payments for bookings have to be completed within 2 hours of booking otherwise the system automatically cancels the meals chosen.  Bookings for September will go live on ParentPay this week, please look out for further communications.

We ask that parents/carers of children with intolerances/allergies or other special diets please complete the relevant form and return to the school office.

New Reception parents joining us in September will receive their ParentPay activation letters during the Stay & Play session in September with a chance to book meals for their child.

We ask that parents/carers of children with intolerances/allergies or other special diets please complete the relevant form and return to the school office.  There is more information in the attached documents specifically about special diets from Aspens.

You will also see that there are festival days each month, where children will have the chance to try foods from around the world or celebration food. It all looks rather exciting.
