Friday Briefing - 15/06/18

We have been writing and editing our non-chronological report about Florence Nightingale’s life, We have been learning about directional vocabulary. 

English:  We have been writing and editing our non-chronological report about Florence Nightingale’s life.

Maths: We have been learning about directional vocabulary and have been rotating objects clockwise and anticlockwise.

Science: We have looked at the benefits and effects of exercise on the body.

PE: We have been practising our relay skills as well as our catching skills.

History: We have been learning about Victorian hospitals and comparing them to modern day hospitals.

Art: We have been drawing our dads in preparation for Fathers Day.

RE: We will be learning about the festival of Eid, which is being celebrated by Muslims today.

Homework: Homework this week is to complete the word search and find the missing word.

Please check at home for any reading books and bring them into school as we are missing lots.

Please ensure reading books and diaries are in school every day.

Please remember to return homework and spelling books on a Tuesday.
