Friday Briefing - 23/03/2018

Followed directions to travel around school- travelling from the office to our classroom.
 
 
English:  We have planned and begun writing a retell for our own version of The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark, replacing the owl with our choice of nocturnal animal. 
 
Maths:  We completed the unit on fractions and have started our new unit on addition and subtraction of 2 digit numbers.
 
Science: We have written a non-chronological report about butterflies. 
 
Geography: Local geography- we wrote and followed directions to travel around school- travelling from the office to our classroom.
 
Art: We made animal sculptures from air- dry clay.
 
Homework: find the fraction of a number. 
 
Today is Sport Relief day, the children will be participating in a sponsored walk this morning.
 
Thursday 29th March - last day of term.
Tuesday 17th April - new term begins - Welcome Mrs Coe. 
 
Please ensure reading books and diaries are in school everyday.
Please remember to return homework and spelling books on a Tuesday.
