Money to solve multiplication questions involving counting in 5s / Animals and their babies
English:  We wrote a diary entry written by The Lonely Beast, concentrating on using past tense vocabulary and events from the book.
 
Maths:  We have used money to solve multiplication questions involving counting in 5s. We have been increasing our knowledge of multiples of 2, 5 and 10, spotting patterns, and answering true or false to number fact statements. 
 
Science: Animals and their babies and how they are born and how they change as they grow up.  We researched different types of animals; mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds.
 
PE: We have developed our dance to Carnival of the Animals and began performing them to the rest of the class.
 
Geography: We described the climate in Antarctica and researched the animals that live there. 
 
RE: We listed the traditions that goes into planning a Christian wedding and have written a description of what happens during a ceremony and celebration.
 
Music:  We listened to different pieces of music and decided which animal would best represent the tempo and sound.
 
Homework: Dog information to read through with supporting questions to answer.
