Thursday Briefing Blog 25.04.2019

This week the children have been talking about their Easter holiday. In phonics we have been reviewing the sounds and tricky words we have learnt so far, and used our phonics to help us write about our Easter holiday.

Topic This week the children have been talking about their Easter holiday.  Next week we will be introducing our new topic all about traditional tales. 

Phonics  In phonics we have been reviewing the sounds and tricky words we have learnt so far, and used our phonics to help us write about our Easter holiday.

Maths  In maths this week we have been counting on from ten and building knowledge of teen numbers.

•We will be telling the children which school house they are in.  Those children in Pankhurst got the most Dojo points last term and will be able to come to school on Friday in their own clothes.
•Reminder – Please label all clothes including sun hats and coats.
•Now the weather is warmer please remember to send a water bottle into school each day, a cap or sun hat and apply sun cream before the start of the school day if it’s going to be warm.
•Photo letter – for new parents brochure.
•PE on a Friday from next week.  Please send your child in with shoes for outdoor PE, preferably Velcro trainers or plimsoles.  No laces!
