Friends of St Botolph's

The Friends committee had been lying dormant for a while, and back in November we decided that we wanted all the children to have school discos and a summer fair again, so we took on the role as Joint Chair. The past few months have been a bit of an eye opener as to how much work is involved, but after every disco and the summer fete, it really is worth all the hard work.

We have raised a good amount from these events and would like to hear from parents, teachers and the school as to what we could spend the money on.  As we have only been up and running for a short time there isn’t an endless pot of money but we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. We will be asking the school for a wish list as well so we can all work together to enriching our children’s school day.

We are excited for the new school year and already have ideas floating around of other fundraising events we could hold.  If you have any ideas, please let us know or come and join our committee.  We are holding an AGM on Tuesday 25th September and everyone is welcome.

We would like to thank everyone for their support over the year, from volunteers at these events and especially everyone on the committee; we couldn’t do any of it on our own.
