The Reception children went to Hunstanton and the Sea Life Centre. This visit was used as an exciting starting point for their topic ‘Under the Sea’.
As part of the activities during the day, the children were able to hold ‘starfish’ and ‘velvet crabs’!
They were amazed at the different types of fish and the size of the sharks as they swam over head!
After talking to the children about their trip and their impressions, here are some of their comments:
Billie: ‘I liked it when I picked up the starfish and things’
Stephen: ‘I saw Nemo.’
Rachel: ‘I liked having dinner outside’.
Ciaran: ‘I liked the giant Japanese crab with the long legs’.
