St. Botolph’s football team: Jamie Homden, William Piers, Ben Laughton, Tarantino, Jessica Drisscoll, Bryony Fox, Thomas Crowson, and Daniel Bonsor went to the Peterborough United for a tour of the stadium.
First we went pitch side, it was huge we saw all the stands and we told about how many people each stand holds and the total capacity of 15,000. Then we saw the managers dug-out and the posh seats the new chairman put in.
Then we went back down the tunnel and into the kitchen where the managers do the pre-match and after game interviews. To our amazement the room wasn’t posh it was purely a board stuck to a wall.
After that we went to the Home changing rooms and saw they were lovely with nice showers and it was cool because the kits were all laid out. Then we went into the away changing room it was nothing like home teams. The showers were basic and the room was tiny.
Finally we went into the main stand and took a look behind the scenes, up to the complementary boxes and briefing room. We had loads of fun and hope to be invited back in the near future!
