  • Year 4 - WW1 Singing Day and Concert at The Cresset Theatre

    The event is being organised by Peterborough Sings! and funded by Arts Council England as part of the Peterborough Singing Strategy. For the past weeks pupils have been rehearsing at school to prepare the songs for this project.

    On Thursday 8th November pupils should arrive at school as normal. They will travel to The Cresset by coach where they will spend the day rehearsing and singing with pupils from other schools from across Peterborough. They will work with a team of professional directors and singing specialists led by William Prideaux.

    Pupils should wear their normal school uniform. They should also bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a bottle of water. Participation in the singing day is free to all pupils.

    The day will conclude with a concert for parents and friends. The concert will begin at 5.00pm. Pupils will leave with their parents at the conclusion of the concert which will be at about 6.00pm. Tickets for the concert are £6/£10 and are available online at , by calling 01733 265705 or in person at The Cresset. High demand is anticipated so early booking is recommended.
