**NEW** Film Night – Thursday 10th January 2019

We are pleased to announce that we are going to be holding a film night on Thursday 10th January. Something for the children to look forward to in January after all the Christmas festivities are over.

We will be showing Captain Underpants (rating U).

Children will come to the hall at the end of school and we expect the evening will finish at 5.15pm.

We have limited spaces for the event and it will be on a first come, first served basis.

We very much hope this will be a success and we will be able to hold another film night this school year. We also have a story evening planned for the summer term so look out for details to follow nearer the time.

Children are more than welcome to bring a small cushion to sit on and/or a teddy (Please make sure that they are named!). PJ’s/onesies are also welcome but optional and children will have the opportunity to change into these at the end of school and before the film starts at 3.15pm. Our aim is to make the event as informal as we can and give children the opportunity to sit with their friends and enjoy the film.

There is a cost of £3.50 per child, which includes a hotdog at the start of the film, followed by popcorn and juice in the interval. We can provide for dietary requirements and vegetarians, but please state on the form on the next page. Due to licensing laws there is no charge to watch this film, only for the supervision and food.

Please complete the form by Monday 7th January, and return to the office in a clearly marked envelope for the attention of The Friends “Film Night”, with your £3.50 fee. If we do exceed our maximum number and your child is not able to come then we will return your money. We are unable to take permission slips after Monday 7th January and no child will be able to attend if we do not have permissions slips returned by this date.

For KS1 children; school bags will be left on the children’s coat pegs. For KS2 we will have an area either in the hall or just outside for their belongings. Film night will finish at 5.15pm and we would ask that everyone use the Yr1 entrance to come and collect their child. KS1 parents will be able to collect their children’s belongings from their peg and then go to the hall. KS2 parents can make their way to the hall where the children will already have their belongings. Once your child is collected you can exit from the back of the hall. Only names listed on the return slip will be able to collect children. We really hope the children enjoy this event and it’s another great way to raise funds for the school. These events cannot run without volunteers.

So if you are able to help out please email we would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Yours sincerely

    Friends of St Botolph’s
