Friday Briefing - 28.10.2018

English: We have been writing our instructions for Captain Stubble and then editing our work to check spellings, punctuation, and the different types of words we need to include.

Maths: In Maths the children have been using their knowledge of number bonds to 20 to help them think of other equations.

Art: The children have started to make their own Pirate treasure maps with Mrs Cooke and Mrs Scibelli.

Reading: Please send your child into school with their reading book everyday.

Homework and spellings: Please complete the week 3 task and return the booklet to school by Tuesday. Please can spelling books be return to school each Tuesday so that the next weeks list can be added. 

Harvest Festival: Our school harvest festival will be on Tuesday next week (2nd October) if you can please send in food items that have a long shelf-life and are non-perishable.
