Friday Briefing - 27/04/18

English:  We have started a new book called The Dark, and have been learning to write noun phrases and similes.  We will also be starting to think about writing a recount of our trip.
 
Maths:  We have continued working on addition and subtraction of two 2-digit numbers.
 
PE: In PE this week we have continued to work with Ryan from Peterborough United, practising relays and playing team games.  Please ensure P.E. kits are in school, including trainers, on a Wednesday.
 
History: We have started to find out about the Great Fire of London and order the events.
 
DT: We have begun to learn about Tudor houses in preparation for making our own.
 
Computing: We have been using search engines to carry out research on Tudor houses.
 
Homework: Maths Reasoning paper - you can read the questions to your child.
 
Please ensure reading books and diaries are in school everyday.
Please remember to return homework and spelling books on a Tuesday.
