Friday Briefing - 23/02/2018

English: 
We have been writing a setting description for the Owl who was Afraid of the Dark.
 
Maths: 
We have been reading the time to 5 minute intervals and recognising 'past the hour' and 'to the hour'.
 
Science:
We have learnt about the stages of life from newborn to elderly. 
 
PE:
We started gymnastics this week, concentrating on pencil rolls and balance.
 
Geography:
Local geography- looking at key areas and buildings in close proximity. 
 
RE:
We wrote an agenda for our Christian Wedding next Friday and recorded a schedule with timings, linking to our math's work.
 
Music: 
We listened to a piece of music and created our a sound map to represent it.
 
Homework:
Complete time sheet by recording the analogue time. 
prepare an outfit for our mock wedding next Friday.  Prepare a speech if your character needs one.
 
Please ensure reading books and diaries are in school everyday.
Please remember to return homework and spelling books on a Tuesday.
