Friday Briefing - 07.12.2018

English: We have started a new unit of work based on the story ‘A Christmas Collar’. The children have predicted what they think will happen in the story. This unit will led up to the children writing their own versions.

Maths: In Maths the children have continue to develop their multiplication and division knowledge. We have now completed this unit and started working on time.

Music: The children have been learning alternative Christmas songs this week. Next week we will start to learn some songs for our Class Celebration, ready for January.

Reading: If/when your child reads at home please ensure to record this in their reading diary. The reading of non-school books can also be recorded.

Homework and spellings: Please complete the graph task this week. The children have already learnt about graphs and diagrams this half term.
Please can spelling books be return to school each Tuesday so that the next weeks list can be added.
