Friday Briefing - 16.11.2018

Maths: In Maths this week the children have been learning about pictograms,
tally charts and block diagrams.

Art/DT: The children have been painting their islands this week.

Computing: In Computing this week the children have been learning about programming and how to make objects on the screen move by creating a code for them.

Science: The children have learnt about John McAdam this week. (He invented Tarmac). With the information the children have learnt they will write a non-chronological report about him.

Reading: Please continue to read with your child and ensure that they bring their book to school everyday.

Homework and spellings: Please complete the week three task which is based on our
RE topic for this term. The children need to draw a picture of the outside of a place of
worship (this could be a local place of worship or a famous place of worship you have seen on photographs). Please return homework and spelling books by Tuesday.
