Friday Briefing - 02/02/2018

This week we have looked at real life heroes. We have considered a range of different jobs that people do which help others.

In phonics this week we have continued with phase 3 of letters and sounds. We have looked at the digraphs ‘sh’ and ‘th’ and also practised writing and using the tricky words: he, be, she, we and me.

In maths this week we have made addition stories, practising the vocabulary: first, then and now. For example, first there were two children skipping, then one more child came along. Now there are three children skipping.

•Next Friday we will be having a ‘dress as your favourite hero/superhero day’.
•Half term will be Monday 12th Feb until Friday 16th of February.
