Friday Briefing - 26/01/2018

We have continued with our topic of Superheroes this week and were able to share one of our Supertato stories during Story Café on Wednesday. The children really enjoyed sharing a story with their grown-ups and had fun making their own Supertato.

In phonics this week we have continued with phase 3 of letters and sounds. We have looked at three new letters this week: z, zz, qu and ch. The children have used their phonics and some of the tricky words learnt so far to write simple sentences in their writing books.

In maths this week we have looked at different ways we can put ten items into two groups. The children had 10 objects and 2 hoops. They took turns to see how many different ways they could share the objects.
