Thursday Briefing - 22.11.2018

Topic This week we have been thinking about the Christmas story in preparation for our Nativity play.  We have also started practising for our performance in the hall and learning all the songs.  Some children have lines to learn.  Please check your child’s book bag to see if they have lines.  We will be sending out a costume letter at the beginning of next week.

Phonics  In phonics this week we have focused on tricky words.  We have been reading the words in simple sentences and having a go at writing the words we have learnt.  Please keep practising the words we have given you in their reading journals.

Maths  In maths we have continued learning about measures. We have looked particularly at weight and size.
